Hi

I would like to know the experience people with J-1 visas
and a Swiss National Science Foundation fellowship (and maybe some
additional money from the sponsoring university) have with
state taxes. I came last August, and I am yet unclear whether
I should file, and if I am considered as a non-resident or
a part-time resident in NY.
