Bonjour,
je suis un jeune ingénieur Suisse en informatique.
J'ai fini mes études en décembre 98 et je travaille depuis le début de
l'année dans une entreprise leader dans le domaine de l'internetworking.
Maintenant, j'ai la ferme intention de bouger et de partir travailler
aux US (le plus vite possible).

Buts:

- Elargir mon horizon.
- pefectionner mon anglais.
- profiter des possibilités données aux gens qualifiés dans ce pays.

Le problème:

- Le permis de travail.

Comment obtenir un permis de travail?
Je suis désespérément à la recherche d'une association qui pourrait me
donner des renseignements, mais en vain.
C'est la que je suis tombé sur votre site, très bien fait et utile
d'ailleurs, et je me tourne vers vous pour me donner des conseils et
astuces.

Mes questions:

Quelles chances a-t-on d'obtenir un permis de travail?
Comment procéder? j'ai 3 plans d'actions en tête:

1) Organiser des interviews avec les entreprises intéressées dans un
espace de 2 semaines et me déplacer aux US pour participer aux
interviews.
2) Etudier 3 mois l'anglais aux US, et pendant ce temps faire des
interviews.
3) Partir comme Au-Pair pour 3 mois et pendant ce temps fiare des
interviews.(moins bonne idée)

Quelle solution est la meilleure et quelles chances de réussite ais-je,
selon vous?

Hi,
I'm a young new graduate Swiss Engineer in computer science (Ingénieur
ETS en informatique).
I finished my studies in December 98, and now I'm working since the
beginning of the year in one of the best compagny in the Internetworking
domain.
Now I want to move working to the US. (asap)

Goals:

- Start a new experience.
- improve my english.
- benefit of the "American Dream" possibilities.

The problem:

- The work permit.

How to obtain a work permit?
I'm searching an association who can help me but I definitively find
nothing.
Then I saw your web page (well done) and I ask you: Can you help me in
giving me some tips and trics?

My questions:

How much chances to obtain a work permit?
How to procede? I have 3 action plans:
1) Organise interviews with the companies within a 2 week period and
then come to the US for these interviews.
2) 3 month english study and during this time make interviews.
3) 3 month Au-Pair and during this time make interviews. (worst idea)
