Hello everybody,
You probably know that the Swiss-List website contains a list of some of the
'Swiss' scientists who are now working in the 'extended' San Francisco Bay
Area. 'Swiss' means someone who has studied and/or worked in Switzerland, and
who has moved to the San Francisco Bay Area recently. One does not need to be
a Swiss passport holder! Using the word 'extended' allows us to include
people from the East Coast as well! This list is purely informal and its
intent is to foster contacts between 'Swiss' professionals locally, but also
across the Atlantic. Some have found a job thanks to it!
I have recently updated the list (http://www.swiss-list.com/swl_lis.html) and
would like to ask you to check it out, to make sure that the information
regarding your entry is still accurate and up-to-date. I know that some of
the info listed there is not valid anymore, and I need your help to update
it.
There are quite a few subscribers to the Swiss-List mailing list who are
not listed in the Member List. If you wish to appear there, please e-mail
me your personal info (Field of research or job responsability, workplace,
URL's). There have been no reported instances of spam activities based on
this listing.
