Dear Swiss List Members,
I have the great pleasure to get married very soon. I am Swiss and my future
husband is English. We both wanted to get married here, in the US, where our
Great Adventure really begun.
I have a few questions...
a. Do I have a risk of loosing my nationality, do I have to fill in some
forms in order to keep it?
b. How can I get married in a "separation de biens"? - I heard that here all
mariages are in a community of goods, which is not really our choice but
if I mention a "prenuptial agreement" to people here, they look at me as
if I was coming from another planet...
c. Does anyone of you have any tips on "do's and don'ts?"
Thank you very much in advance for your replies.
Best Regards
Celia
