Si un Suisse de l'étranger rentre en Suisse, il est à nouveau astreint
au service sans restriction particulière en fonction de son âge et de
son aptitude au service.
Nous faisons une exception pour les personnes astreintes au service
militaire qui ont séjourné plus de 6 ans à l'étranger de manière
ininterrompue et dont l'armée n'a plus besoin. Ces personnes ne seront
réincorporées dans l'armée que si elles en font la demande expresse; si
ce n'est pas le cas, elles sont soumises à la taxe d'exemption et
accomplissent du service au sein de la protection civile. La décision
en la matière ne sera dans tous les cas pas prise avant le retour du
congé pour l'étranger et la déclaration de retour en Suisse.

Seems pretty clear that you won't be reincorporated after 6 years
abroad. (unless you ask for it, and I guess you won't:-)
