Hi
I would strongly recommend the following service: 101-6868 and then dial as
usual (011 41 etc.). No sign-up fees, no hidden costs etc. comes up to
approx. 11cts/min to Switzerland, anytime, not only weekends. The costs
will show up on your telephone bill and paid through your local telephone
company. I've been using this service for almost 2 years in two different
areas (Chicago, San Diego) and never had any problems, overbilling or lousy
service. 99% of the time the telephone lines are excellent and for talking
perfect. I use the service also for regular long distance, at absolutely
competitive rates and again, no sign up fees, no funny 'service fees', etc.
Works great
Good luck
Michael

After a quite unpleasant experience with MCI customer service (or lack
thereof), I am ready to switch long-distance carriers. My main concern is
to get reasonably low rates AND a top-quality connection (to Switzerland,
in
particular). I've tried those super-cheap-if-you-dial-18-numbers-first
services, but the line is usually poor (with a big echo).
I am considering signing up with Working Assets, even though their rates
are
not that low, just because I like their philosophy. But I want to make
sure
first that their service/line quality is worth the extra $$ (I think their
lines are actually maintained by Sprint).
I would be grateful if some of you could share their positive / negative
experiences.
And a peaceful holiday season to all of you!
