SNF PROFESSORSHIP PROGRAMME : 4th CALL
With the aim of supporting talented young scientists personally and so
enabling them to follow an academic career, the Swiss National Science
Foundation is financing 45 new SNF professorships. Eligible for this scheme
are young scientists from all scientific disciplines supported by the
National Foundation. Conditions for eligibility are a doctorate and proven
research activities of several years standing with publications in
high-ranking magazines. Candidates must be able to present a scientific
profile which would enable them to apply for a chair position. Note : the
3rd call awarded 40% of the professorships to scientists returning from
abroad !
