Hi Leonore

I am currently in the process of moving to the USA and have looked into the
issue of the credit history for a few days now. As Claudio has pointed out
in an earlier message there is an enormous wealth of information to be found
on Google.

The first article I stubled across was
http://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs6-crdt.htm. It deals mainly with your
privacy rights concerning the credit history, but explains the system of how
the history builds up well and gives links to all the important agencies.
Quite helpful.
