Hi everybody,
I want to transfer from J1 to H1B and need to get a waiver for my 2
year home rule requirement. I am German but before going to the US
worked in CH and also got a swiss stipend (SNF) for my first 2 years
here (which is probably why I have the 2 year rule in my visum). To
get the waiver, I need a letter of no objection from my home embassy.
Is this the CH or the German embassy? Has anybody been in a similar
situation? My emails to the Dept. of State have not been answered so
far.
Thank you very much.
Christian
