Hi,
I assume you are talking about a greencard for your husband. the only
thing that I can say, is that the INS is working extremely slow since
the Bush administration took over, and even slower (if this is possible)
since this country decided to go to war. There are web sites where you
can see how long it takes if you put in your request on which month, I
think it is www.imigration.org Or try the US embassy in the Dominican
Republic. Embassies are often nicer and much more efficient then the
main body of a government organization.
