Hi,
I am in a similar situation, as I arrived last october on a J2 visa and I have
currently no income too. However, my tax advisor told me that I don't have to
file anyting, as long as I am not long enough in the US to be considered a
resident (for tax purposes). So I was wondering if I need to file form 8843,
and this is the answer I got from my tax advisor:
