Kenta Biotech is focusing on the discovery and development of innovative,
fully human monoclonal antibodies for the life-saving treatment of
patients with serious infectious diseases. We currently have one product
candidate in clinical phase 2 development and several product candidates
in preclinical development. At our headquarters in Berne, Switzerland, we
currently employ a team of highly qualified and experienced scientists,
clinical specialists, and technicians with a proven track record in the
discovery and development of monoclonal antibodies. For the completion of
our research team we are currently recruiting applicants for the position
of a

Senior Scientist / Head Preclinical Research (m/f) 100%

This challenging position offers you the opportunity to prove your
capabilities in the fields of immunology and cell biology. You will be
responsible for independently conducting and managing research projects
within a small and focused research team as well as coordinating external
research collaborations. In this position you will lead a small team of
PhDs and technicians in the lab.

Your tasks
Generation and characterization of human monoclonal antibodies
Handling and Maintenance of primary lymphocytes in vitro
Handling and Maintenance of established cell lines and human hybridoma
cell cultures
Development and performance of immunological and analytical tests in vivo
and in vitro

Your profile

You hold a Ph.D. degree and a minimum of 4-5 years of post-doc experience
in the above mentioned fields. In addition you have proven hands-on
experience with generation of monoclonal antibodies, immunological assay
and project management. Your profile also includes experience in leading a
small research team (PhD, technician) and good people skills. Industry
experience as well as experience in microbiology/virology is a plus. If
you have excellent communication skills (in German and English) and a
willingness to work hands-on as a team-player within a motivated team as
well as a high degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed then we
