Found out too late that there are some good deals available from SBB/CFF ONLY for people with residence outside Switzerland, that stay only for a short time in Switzerland.
Some are only available at the Airport Zurich or Geneva or outside Switzerland (but they don't have an address in the US). The person at Zurich main station said that one needs a passport with a stamp from the embassy, but the embassy did not put anything into my passport. How about yours? She then said, that probably the Visa and the IAP-66 would be enough. (SBB: can you comment on this? Please "reply to all".)
