Education Evaluators International certified my "Dipl. Informatik-Ing. ETH" diploma as equivalent to an MS, and my "Dr. sc. techn. ETH" as equivalent to a PhD. I only sent them copies of my diplomas (in german) and a copy of translation certified by ETH to English of the diploma. They also mentioned, that the equivalent of a bachelor is a prerequisite for the "Dipl. Ing. ETH". This is relevant for an H-1B that requires a bachelor only.
Stanford University accepted my Dr. as equivalent to a PhD. They only asked for a copy of the diplomas when hiring me.
