Hi,
I would like to know if any one has experience with the voluntary Swiss AVS
contribution.
Even if most swiss people think to better invest this money in an IRA or other
mutual funds,
I would like to well understand what are the (dis-)advantages of the different
options:
- What is the penalty in CH if I stop to pay the AVS ?
- Is the AVS related to the Unemployment Insurance ?
- Is there any bilateral agreement between CH and US ?
- Is it possible to only pay the voluntary swiss AVS (and not the US Social
Security) ?
- What are the rates ?
- How to proceed ?
- Who to ask ?
