Hi All,
Concerning the Swiss citizenship. You do not need to reside or have ever
resided in Switzerland in order to get the Swiss citizenship. You need to
have been married for 5 years at least with a Swiss citizen and have
connection to the country. The latter meaning that you need to be able to
speak one of the official Swiss languages and you need letters from Swiss
citizens living in Switzerland attesting that you have been a regular
visitor to the country and that you are fond of Switzerland ....
Otherwise my father and my brother in law who never lived in Switzerland
would not have gotten the citizenship. And they got it both!
Best regards,
Corinna
